Google SEO?
North Digital Co.

How Should a Chinese Business Start Google SEO?
For a Chinese business entering the North American market, Google SEO should begin with the offer and the buyer’s questions, rather than a purchased promise of keyword rankings. First make the products and services understandable. Then build a content and technical foundation that can be checked and improved. A sequenced starting plan is more useful than chasing many unrelated keywords at once.
Understand crawling and indexing
Google discovers and crawls pages, processes their content for indexing, and serves relevant results when someone searches. Publication, crawling and ranking are different events. A discovered page is not guaranteed to appear in results; see the official explanation.
Start by checking whether important pages load, their main content is readable and navigation reaches the offer. Identify whether a problem concerns discovery, access, indexing or relevance before treating every issue as a general lack of SEO results.
Set up Search Console as a working tool
Verify ownership using a Google account the business can administer and hand over when needed. Search Console helps observe search performance and indexing; the official getting-started guide explains its role.
Document the verification method, administrators and important pages. A sitemap supplies information about site URLs, but submission does not guarantee indexing or rankings. See Google’s sitemap documentation when deciding how to maintain it.
Research keywords through products and buyers
List the core products, applications, materials, customer industries and service areas, then investigate how buyers describe those needs. A phrase may signal information gathering, supplier comparison or readiness to request a quotation.
A component buyer may describe a requirement by material, size or application. Internal terminology is a research starting point, not automatically a final keyword. Prioritize offers for which the business can provide meaningful information, and record why each topic belongs in the plan.
Connect research with page architecture
A separate near-identical page for every small wording variation is rarely a useful starting structure. Organize the site around real products, services and applications, giving each page a clear purpose and helpful connections.
A manufacturer might use category pages, detailed product pages and application explanations. A service firm may need service scope and process pages. Our page planning guide helps connect that structure with business information and the team’s ability to maintain it.
Write content that helps a buyer make progress
Useful writing comes from product knowledge, service experience and recurring customer questions. Explain selection criteria, information needed for a quotation, scope and limitations instead of repeating generic supplier claims.
Tools can assist with organization, while people verify specifications, examples and commitments. Consult Google’s helpful-content guidance for context. Do not invent case studies, copy competitors or publish a volume of articles without an accountable review process.
Address practical technical obstacles
Review page responses, HTTPS, mobile usability, heading structure, internal links and essential resources. Check that important pages are not accidentally restricted and that URL versions and canonical settings are coherent.
Avoid adding layers of software simply to improve a score. Fix practical issues such as unavailable product pages, broken forms, oversized images and dead navigation links. Technical work should make information usable, rather than ending with a screenshot from an assessment tool.
Treat SEO as an ongoing process
Competition, the existing site, content quality and execution all affect what can be observed. Use phase goals such as completing core pages, fixing access problems and establishing a content plan, rather than measuring the project only by a number-one position.
Google’s SEO Starter Guide makes clear that there is no automatic route to first place. Plan ongoing review alongside normal sales and business development; a website should not become the company’s only route to customers.
Turn Search Console observations into decisions
Compare search observations with the inquiries the business actually receives. If a product page attracts attention without relevant conversations, examine topic fit, the explanation and the contact route separately before adding more articles.
Record what changed, on which page and when. Compare observations over sensible periods while considering seasonality and business activity. A short fluctuation is not a long-term trend, and a search click is not the same thing as a sale.
